Amara Spa is set in the low-rise, Moorish-style grounds of Park Hyatt Dubai at Port Saeed, on the Deira bank of Dubai Creek beside the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club; its menu is now published on the Dubai Creek Resort website. The spa is known for its spacious treatment suites, and the wider grounds include the Amara pool, a hotel fitness centre and gardens running down to the creek, which gives it a calm, resort-like feel close to the city and the airport.

The massage menu is concise. The Amara Signature Massage, deep tissue and Liquid Memories by ZENTS, an aromatic massage using the American organic brand, come in 60- and 90-minute versions, while hot stone, Thai and lymphatic massage are 90-minute treatments. Reflexology, short head, back or foot massages, an anti-cellulite treatment, a magnesium recovery wrap and body polishes complete the body menu. Facials range from a 30-minute Collagel essential facial to vitamin C, deep-cleansing and anti-ageing treatments. Packages are a strong point: three-hour couple journeys with a foot ritual, scrub and wrap, massage and facial; a bespoke couple ceremony; a men's package; a mother-to-be package; and a Ladies Day Out. A Pool & Spa Unwind offer pairs a 30-minute back and shoulder massage with day access to the pool, gym and spa facilities. The spa is open every day from 9am to 10pm.
