CHI, The Spa is on the fourth floor of Shangri-La Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road, near Financial Centre metro station and a short drive from Downtown Dubai. CHI is Shangri-La's own spa brand, built around Asian healing traditions and the idea of chi, or life energy, and its menu is one of the better-value hotel spa menus on Sheikh Zayed Road.

The Signature Asian Blend Massage combines Thai pressure points, Balinese and Malaysian strokes and Chinese energy work. Other massages include a relaxing aromatherapy massage, a deep tissue sports massage, a pain and stress relief massage, traditional Thai massage, heated salt stone massage and a 90-minute mom-to-be massage, plus shorter express options. Journeys extend the experience: the Arabian Ritual begins with an Arabica coffee exfoliation, the Travellers' Retreat is designed for recovery after a long flight, and Deep Sleep Renewal is aimed at rest. Facials use Hommage for men and Teami for repair, soothing and glow treatments. A Rejuvenating Signature Treatment begins with a back cleanse before a full massage.
