Talise Spa is the spa of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, the sail-shaped hotel on its own island off Jumeirah Beach. It is located on the 18th floor, so treatment rooms look out over the Gulf, and the spa describes its style as embracing Arabic traditions alongside modern wellbeing. The setting is unusual even by Dubai standards: separate indoor infinity pools for men and women, a sauna, a herbal steam room and a cold plunge pool, plus a library-style lounge called Diwania holding more than a hundred books in several languages.

The menu follows the seasons and covers massage, facials and body treatments, including advanced cellular skincare, and gift vouchers are sold through the spa concierge. Talise publishes clear policies. Bookings run from 9am to 9pm, with the last one taken at 8pm, and a pre-payment link is sent to confirm. Changes or cancellations need 12 hours' notice, otherwise the full rate is charged. Guests are encouraged to arrive an hour early to enjoy the facilities, lockers are provided and therapists use full draping. The spa is adults-only after midday; children aged 5 and over can use the infinity pools in the morning with supervision, guests aged 12 and over may use the spa facilities, and treatments for under-16s need a parent's waiver. The fitness centre is for hotel guests and members.
