The Ritz-Carlton Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert sits inside the resort's 1,235-acre Al Wadi Nature Reserve, among the dunes. Its interiors draw on Arabian architecture, and its wellness journeys combine mindfulness with spa techniques. At its heart is The Rainforest, a hydrotherapy circuit of 16 stations that blends European and Middle Eastern bathing traditions. It is for guests aged 16 and over and must be reserved in advance. Facilities also include a plunge pool, a steam room, separate lounges for men and women, a Vitality Pool and a 24-hour fitness centre. The wellness menu includes the Heal and Renew facial with a warm herbal poultice, the Wellbeing and Resilience massage with yogic stretching and reflexology, an Awakening Bamboo massage, a Kobido-inspired Natural Resilience facial and a Cleansing Body Sculpt treatment with an algae wrap. A price list carried by a tour operator also shows massages such as the Emirati massage and the Sandtide massage, deep muscle, Lomi Lomi and desert stone massages. It lists HydraFacials and men's treatments, plus half-day and full-day spa experiences, including the four-hour Arabian Sand Tide Journey. According to that list, prices include service charge, destination fee and VAT, and treatments come with extra relaxation time. The spa is open from 10:00 to 20:00 and treatments are by appointment. Body scrubs, body wraps and couples massages are also offered.
