Waldorf Astoria Spa is the spa at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah in Al Hamra. Its interiors follow an undersea theme intended to bring the calm of the sea into the spa experience, and the menu's names (Calm Waves, Deep Sea, Ocean to Shore) echo it. The centrepiece is a private spa suite, described as a spa within the spa, for one or two guests or small groups. It has its own entry vestibule, bathroom, dressing room, steam shower, jacuzzi, heated treatment beds and optional food and drink, with an exclusive menu using AMRA skincare. The wider menu includes journeys for women and men that combine steam, scrubs, mud and massage. One of them uses the Aquavedic bed, which has water jets, heat and aromatics. Facials come from VOYA's organic range and from QMS Medicosmetics. Body polishes, seaweed wraps, Bellabaci cupping massage and hand and foot treatments complete the menu. Massages range from the customised Calm Waves and the deep-healing Deep Sea to Oceanic Stones and a pregnancy massage called Merrows and Mermaids. All massages start with a foot soak and a consultation, and from October to April they can be taken outside in a garden cabana. Guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes early to use the spa facilities, and the minimum age for access and treatment is 16.
