Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island provides physical therapy within its Neurological Institute's outpatient rehabilitation programme, as well as for inpatients. This is a hospital rehabilitation service rather than a massage centre, and patients are usually referred by a physician as part of a wider treatment plan.

The outpatient programme serves adults aged 14 and over from across the UAE, with younger patients seen case by case. The team, led by a consultant in rehabilitation medicine, neurology or stroke, includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, neuropsychologists, dietitians and nurses.

Services include musculoskeletal rehabilitation for neck, back, shoulder and hip pain, scoliosis, tendon strains, arthritis, disc injuries and fractures, using manual therapy for soft-tissue release, strengthening, flexibility work and posture training. There is a structured Schroth scoliosis programme, neurological rehabilitation after stroke or for Parkinson's and multiple sclerosis, vestibular rehabilitation for balance problems, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation and lymphoedema management with manual lymph drainage, pelvic health rehabilitation with biofeedback, TMJ treatment, a hand and upper limb service and functional capacity evaluations.
