Anjana Spa is the spa of Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah. In keeping with Rixos's Turkish roots, it is built around hammam culture, yet its menu is one of the broadest on the Palm, taking in Asian massage, sound meditation and Italian Vagheggi skincare.

Hammam rituals range from a 40-minute traditional Turkish hammam and a foam massage to the Anjana and Golden hammams. A VIP hammam section offers 70-minute journeys themed on Morocco, Bali and the Ottoman sultana Hürrem. The massage list is long: Swedish, sports, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage and aroma oil massage are priced the same in 50- or 75-minute versions, and Asian massages include Balinese, Thai aroma, Lomi-Lomi and stone therapy. A Jimbaran four-hands massage, a golden massage, a mix massage and an anti-cellulite massage are also offered. Unusually, there is a massage for children in 30- or 50-minute versions. Tibetan singing bowl meditation and a 90-minute Life Sound session cover sound therapy. Facials are by Vagheggi of Italy, and slender-body treatments include modelling and toning procedures. The spa is open daily from 9am to 9pm and takes bookings by WhatsApp. To avoid the full cancellation fee, changes and cancellations must be made at least two hours before the treatment.
